Acupuncture

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is an ancient system of medicine that dates back thousands of years.  It includes acupuncture, herbal medicine, moxibustion, cupping, nutritional therapy, lifestyle, and Qi Gong.

Acupuncture is the insertion of fine wire-like “needles” into the body at specific acupuncture point locations along the body's various acupuncture channels. The needles are retained anywhere from 15-40 minutes, depending on the condition(s) being treated.  It is a relaxing, pleasant experience for most people.

Today, this system of medicine in the U.S. requires completion of a graduate degree, passing a board exam, followed by state licensure.
